Saving DC's Rental Housing Market Strike Force

Saving DC's Rental Housing Market Strike Force

The Saving DC's Rental Housing Strike Force was created in January 2021 by Mayor Muriel Bowser. The nearly 30-member team, chaired by Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) Director Polly Donaldson, is comprised of housing experts from a range of District agencies and selected stakeholders from the public. The Strike Force serves as an advisory group to address actions by or with the District government to address the current challenges and the post-pandemic future of DC's rental housing market- affordable, market-rate, and naturally occurring affordable units. The Strike Force’s work will culminate in the issuance of a report of recommendations by mid-March.

All are welcome to participate. You can find the agenda and presentations from each meeting on DHCD's website here
